2ne1 ( Korean : 투애니원 ) is a girl band from South Korea which was formed by YG Entertaiment in 2009. 2ne1 is a hip hop or pop girlband who consist of 4 beautiful girls, they are CL, Dara, Bom and Minzy. The name “2ne1” means 21th century and new evolution. 2ne1 is pronounced to anyone. First time, they appeared in a campaign of LG Electronics with a boy band who is in the same agency, Big Bang. Their first debut, used Fire song which was released on March, 6th 2009. After that, their other songs could win some awards, like in M! Countdown and Music Bank. 2ne1 officially debuted in Japan in September 2011 with their mini album, titled “NOLZA”. Why is he name after a number?
Aaah, that’s a question which is given by everyone when they know or read his stage name. Before his debut, his company has thought about the possible stage name (from letters to numbers, including 7) that would be suitable for Choi Dong Wook. While eating a restaurant with YG, they noticed there were 7 pieces of radish kimchi on his plate. So, they confirmed Se7en’s name from that.
